James came with me and acted as roadie stage hand, for a warm up gig to the One For the Road show, 16.02.2014, Bohemian Groove Cafe Kaapsehoop. Full house, but difficult audience, sold 4 CDs.
Blue moon used to host these concerts for the local bands whereby you could partner with local businesses who would sponsor you. Each sponsor would get invited to the show, and be provided with a lekker hamper of food and a bucket of dops. I and my friends got roaringly drunk and well-fed on the booze and food of the no-showers. Local gigs are always the best, becasue everyone knows each other. Pete prowling on percussion, and the backup singer's name eludes me. This show really rocked.
